1. Short Introduction
The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Program 2026-27 is a landmark Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) flagship initiative launched by the SBI Foundation, the social commitment arm of the State Bank of India (SBI). 5. Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India residing across any state or Union Territory.
- Academic Qualification: Students must have secured a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA in their previous academic year exam (e.g. Class 8th marks for Class 9th applicant, Class 12th marks for UG applicant).
- Family Income Limit: Gross annual household income from all sources must not exceed:
- For School & General UG/PG Students: ≤ ₹3,00,000 (3 Lakhs) per annum.
- For IIT, IIM, MBBS & Overseas Applicants: ≤ ₹6,00,000 (6 Lakhs) per annum.
- Female Candidate Special Preference: 50% reservation guaranteed for girl students across all tiers.
- Current Enrollment: Student must be enrolled in a recognized School, Board (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards), College, or University for the 2026-27 academic session.
