Provisional answer keys allow candidates to calculate tentative scores and challenge incorrect official response keys before final result compilation. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Download Candidate Response Sheet
Log in to the official board portal using your Roll Number and Password to download your candidate response sheet along with the official provisional answer key.
Step 2: Tentative Score Calculation Formula
Calculate total score: (Correct Answers × Marks per Question) - (Wrong Answers × Negative Penalty). Unattempted questions carry zero penalty.
Step 3: Filing Online Objections
If you spot an incorrect official key or wrong question representation, submit an online objection within the specified window (typically 3 to 5 days) along with textbook documentary proof.
Step 4: Final Answer Key Release
Exam committees review all candidate challenges. If objections are accepted, a Revised Final Answer Key is published, and final results are evaluated on that basis.
