Mega Govt Job Notification: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2026) for 17,727 Group B and Group C Officer Vacancies across Central Ministries. Eligible Graduates can apply online at ssc.gov.in before 25th August 2026.

3. Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit & Educational Qualification)
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. Final year students are also eligible provided they obtain degree before cutoff date.
- Age Limit: 18 to 32 Years (varies post-wise). Age relaxation: SC/ST (+5 yrs), OBC (+3 yrs), PwD (+10 yrs).
4. Tier-1 & Tier-2 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
SSC CGL 2026 examination will be conducted in two computerized online tiers:
- Tier-1 (Qualifying CBT): 100 Questions, 200 Marks (Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension). Time: 60 minutes. Negative marking: 0.50 marks.
- Tier-2 (Merit CBT & Data Entry Speed Test): Paper-1 (Maths, Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge) + Data Entry Speed Test (DEST).
5. Pay Scale & Post-wise Salary
- Pay Level 8 (₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100): In-hand Gross Salary approx ₹85,000/month.
- Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400): In-hand Gross Salary approx ₹78,000/month.
- Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400): In-hand Gross Salary approx ₹62,000/month.
- Pay Level 5 & 4 (₹25,500 – ₹92,300): In-hand Gross Salary approx ₹45,000/month.

- Visit the new official SSC portal: ssc.gov.in.
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) with live photograph upload using SSC MyGov Mobile App.
- Login using Registration Number and Password.
- Click on "Apply" under Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026.
- Select Exam Centre preferences and fill educational details.
- Pay Application Fee (₹100 for General/OBC; ₹0 for Women, SC, ST, PwD).
- Submit final online application form and print confirmation page.
