7. Educational & Physical Eligibility Criteria
A. Educational Qualifications
- Assistant Superintendent Jail (Male & Female): Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent + Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matriculation or Higher Education.
- Warder (Male & Female): 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent from a recognized education board + Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric level.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have qualified in Haryana CET Group-C Exam Advt 01/2025.

C. Physical Screening Test (PST Running)
Candidates qualifying PMT will undergo the Physical Screening Test which is qualifying in nature:
- Male Candidates: 2.5 Kilometer Running in maximum 12 Minutes.
- Female Candidates: 1.0 Kilometer Running in maximum 6 Minutes.
- Ex-Servicemen: 1.0 Kilometer Running in maximum 5 Minutes.

Assistant Superintendent Jail
Age Limit: 21 to 27 Years
Warder (Male & Female)
Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years
Upper Age Relaxation: As per Haryana Government instructions (Appendix-K), 5 Years age relaxation is granted to DSC, OSC, BCA, BCB, and EWS candidates residing in Haryana State.

10. Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Recruitment for HSSC Group C posts will follow a 4-stage selection procedure:
- CET Phase-II OMR Written Examination: 100 MCQs carrying 100 total marks. Time duration: 1 Hour 45 Minutes. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for General and 40% for Reserved categories.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Verification of height and chest measurements against prescribed standards.
- Physical Screening Test (PST): Time-bound running test (Qualifying in nature using RFID technology).
