4. RRB Paramedical Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for CEN 05/2026 must satisfy the post-specific educational qualification and age limit as on the cutoff date. Candidates awaiting final results of the prescribed qualification are not eligible.

Post-Wise Educational Qualification
- 1. Nursing Superintendent: Certificate as Registered Nurse & Midwife after passing 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from an INC-recognized institution; OR B.Sc Nursing.
- 2. Dialysis Technician: B.Sc plus Diploma in Haemodialysis; OR B.Sc plus 2 years' satisfactory in-house training/experience in haemodialysis; OR B.Sc in Dialysis Techniques / Dialysis Technology / Renal Dialysis Technology.
- 3. Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II: B.Sc with Chemistry as a main/optional subject PLUS 1-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector OR 1-year NTC in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by NCVT.
- 4. Audiologist & Speech Therapist: Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized university + Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- 5. Pharmacist (Entry Grade): Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm - Allopathic) and registration as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948; OR Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and registration as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- 6. Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry plus 2-year Diploma in Radiography / X-Ray Technician / Radiodiagnosis Technology from a recognized institute (or equivalent recognized qualifications).
- 7. ECG Technician: 10+2 or Graduation in Science plus Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology / Cardiology Technician (at least 1 year duration).
- 8. Optometrist: B.Sc in Optometry; OR Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3–4 years' duration + Registration with concerned licensing council.
- 9. Lab Assistant Grade II: 12th/10+2 in Science plus DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology); OR Certificate course in MLT equivalent to DMLT; OR B.Sc Medical Lab Technology.
Age Limit & Relaxations
Age is calculated as on 01 January 2027. Permissible upper age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per Government rules:
- SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years
- OBC-NCL Candidates: 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Up to 3 Years after deduction of military service rendered
- PwBD Candidates: 10 to 15 Years depending on category
