4. Eligibility & NET/PhD Requirement
The qualification is not simply "any Master's degree." Candidates must satisfy the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018 along with amendments adopted by HPU.
NET / Ph.D. Requirement
Option A: NET Qualified
Qualified NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent UGC-accredited test such as SLET/SET
Option B: Ph.D. Holder
Hold/have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the applicable UGC regulations
Ph.D. before 11 July 2009: Special provisions apply for candidates whose registration was before this date, subject to conditions relating to regular-mode Ph.D., thesis evaluation, viva, research publications and conference/seminar presentations.
Computer Science/IT at UIT: The applicable AICTE norms, 2019 also apply for these posts.
