1. CBT Examination Structure & Scheme

The Directorate of Agriculture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration conducts a single Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 130 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 130 marks.

2. Part I: General Studies Syllabus (Common for All Posts — 30 Marks)

Part I evaluates the candidate's general aptitude, English comprehension, and awareness regarding current affairs and basic IT usage:

a. General Intelligence

Similarities and differences, spatial visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series.

b. English Language

Knowledge of English language, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, comprehension of a unseen prose passage.

c. General Awareness & Computers
